With heightened demand for veterinary care over the past 18+ months, Clermont Animal Hospital is finding it necessary to modify our Urgent and Emergency Care Policy. We are honored that you trust our skilled team with your furry family member’s healthcare. Our overwhelming wish is to continue to uphold the long-standing tradition of top-notch veterinary services established decades ago.

Established Patients 

We see all of our established patients within 24 hours when they are ill or injured, but after 10 am, those appointments are usually scheduled the next morning. Please contact us before 10 am with sick pets or emergency cases to be seen by our team on a same-day basis (Monday-Saturday). For those contacting us after 10am, same-day appointments will be considered “urgent care” or “emergency”, and will incur a higher fee.  

Please be aware that same-day appointments are not available for routine wellness care.  Most of our wellness appointments are booking 1-2 weeks out.  Please plan accordingly if you need your pet’s vaccinations updated for boarding or grooming.

New Patients

For those who have not yet visited our office, our experienced team will make every effort to find a same-day appointment for sick or urgent cases.  However, availability is not guaranteed. New patients seen same-day will be charged an urgent care fee (if scheduled before 10 a.m.) or an emergency fee (if scheduled after 10 a.m.).  We are not an emergency clinic, so there are days when new patients cannot be accommodated, and no after-hours emergency service will be provided.  We encourage all prospective new patients to establish a relationship prior to emergencies so that we can provide timely assistance to you and your sweet pet. After Hours Calls

A doctor is on call most nights until 4 a.m. and weekends/holidays from 8 a.m. until 4 a.m. for established patients only.  Emergency calls will not be accepted between 4am and 8am. After January 1, 2022, the emergency care hours will conclude at 12 midnight.  Please call our regular hospital number (513-449-1188) to be connected with our answering service.  We regret that we cannot provide emergency care for new patients.
